INDIA: Following the release of Thunivu, Thala Ajith Kumar’s upcoming films Vidaa Muyarchi and AK63 continue to bag loads of anticipation from fans. Though Vidaa Muyarchi received its much-awaited update on AK’s birthday, now it’s time for his next film.
According to the latest buzz, AK63 has found its director. Reports suggest that Mark Antony fame Adhik Ravichandran will be the man in director’s chair.

Film Industry Tracker Manobala Vijayabalan shared the update on X. “#MarkAntony director Adhik Ravichandran to direct Ajith Kumar’s next and Elred Kumar to bankroll this #AK63 project. Remuneration for this film is said to be a whopping ₹ 175cr,” he wrote.
Besides Ravichandran as director, the film also has producer Elred Kumar bankrolling the project, according to reports. However, what grabs our attention from the report is that Kumar will receive a whopping amount of ₹175 crore, which points to the massive production potential and the creative team’s vision.

Talking about Ravichandran, his latest work on Mark Antony is what someone can call a crazy idea high on steroids. Compiling sci-fi and action-comedy genres with two talented Tamil actors, Vishal and SJ Suryah, in the lead, he laid the foundation for box office success.
Mark Antony’s triumph adds huge expectations from Ravichandran, and if the reports are true, then fans can expect to witness AK in a unique role compared to his previous film.

As of now, no official update has been shared by the makers. However, reports of Ravichandran’s name attached to the project hint that AK63 may turn out to be one of the most successful films of Ajith Kumar’s career.
Besides AK63, Ajith’s other latest Vidaa Muyarchi has finalised the team. Magizh Thirumeni will add his directorial vision; Tamil BGM beast Anirudh Ravichander will provide the background score; and Lyca Production will bankroll the project.
